Coaching Philosophy
I passionately believe and model that students, athletes and coaches are both enriched and empowered when intrinsically motivated to adopt progressive development within a shared vision. A pathway is open when I can create and maintain a respectful, safe and ethical learning environment.
Leadership Pathways
As your proposed program leader, I firmly believe that my passionate dedication to leading professional sports system evolution, as well as to student, athlete and coach development, precisely aligns with your brand philosophy, mission and principles. My philosophy, skills and abilities would positively contribute towards providing strategic planning and oversight for all stakeholders. Accessibility to consistent and continuous leadership, programming, and resources for fostered growth and development is paramount. I both model and mentor Sports Canada’s adopted “Long Term Athlete Development” and “Sport for Life” protocols for further empowering sports federations, coaches and athletes towards their measurable goals. I sustain building and maintaining safe, ethical and enriched environments so that our sporting communities are best positioned to flourish within our life-long learning NCCP/LTAD world-class platform. By maintaining strong multi-sport channels of communications, I endeavour to collectively share stakeholders’ visions & values, while promoting fun, fitness, education and development. I am a strong proponent of empirically derived evidence-based learning and management protocols. Therefore, If tasked with steering future programs and resources, my compass would definitely point to where we need to be, rather than where we are via gap analysis. When we all know more, we can all do better. My personal success plan includes continuous critical thinking, coupled with ongoing professional education and development, thus ensuring fresh perspectives and innovations in sports management.
